Youtube has the Highest Engagement on the Mobile Industry

It is Christmas time! The time of presents, good wishes, family meetings and sharing. One of the star presents for the outgoing year seem to be the smartphones. From our side, we would like to share with you an overview of the most successful and loved mobile manufacturers.

We have analysed the Top 11 most important Smartphone Manufacturers regarding their turnover, by comparing their global social media profiles. The considered brands are Apple, Nokia, Blackberry, Motorola, Samsung, HTC, Sony Xperia, ZTE, Alcatel, LG and Huawei.

We found out that, Youtube is the social network that has the highest engagement on the Mobile Manufacturers’ Industry. It generates almost 1.1 millions of interactions per month. Some of the brands are very active on this media, in fact, one of them published 29 videos last month, impressive isn’t it? This platform is used by Mobile Companies as their own online TV channel. The brands use it to promote ande share their new smartphones and gadgets.

Facebook is the social network that has the largest audience, almost 126 million potential buyers among the 11 brands. In spite of this huge potential market, it is remarkable to say that Apple does not have a global profile. It seems that they have a different online strategy.

As for Twitter, is the place where Mobile Manufacturers publish more often, with an average of 27 tweets per day in November 2014.
