Many of you will probably have heard about it but I would like to talk to you about TED. It is a non-profit organization whose slogan is “Ideas worth spreading”.

Each year, two different conferences are arranged, one in the West Coast of the USA and the other one in Edinburgh. The speakers are experts in technology, business, design, entertainment, science or politics amongt others.

The speakers are challenged to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes and they are really inspiring. People like Bill Clinton, Google founders, Bill Gates or Al Gore have been speakers in TED.

The organization has a Youtube channel which is called TEDTalksDirector. It is updated constantly and all talks are there so that anyone can access them for free.
